Not everything we face can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

~ James Baldwin

Robert “Bob” Day began his law enforcement career in 1988 with the Oregon State Police and joined the Portland Police Bureau in 1990. During his career, he held multiple assignments like the Training Division Commander, Critical Incident Commander, Crowd Management Incident Commander, Precinct Commander, Assistant Chief of the Operations Branch, and Deputy Chief.

Bob is a trusted advisor to corporate and public sector leaders and a sought-after presenter on topics such as leadership, resilience, navigating change, and hope. His deeply personal journey through loss, coupled with his willingness to study and confront the complexities of life’s most challenging conflicts has compelled him to invite others to also evolve in their thinking, understanding, and behavior. Bob believes it is in our humanity that we see each other, only then can we begin to address the deeper issues that separate us.

On weekends in the fall, you can find Bob on the field where he officiates football in the PAC 12 conference. He is the proud dad of two children and lives with his wife in the Portland metropolitan area. He holds a BA in Organizational Management and Leadership from George Fox University.
